Also known as the PGA370, the Socket 370 is a processor socket first used with the Celeron processor and later the Intel Pentium III Coppermine that enabled the processor to connect with the motherboard. As can be seen to the right the socket gets its name from the 370 pin holes and has a small lever on the left hand side of the socket that can be pulled up and pushed down to insert and remove the processor
