Circuit City will out do Wal-mart in the notebook pricing war this holiday season with a Compaq notebook for $99!Of course, there's a catch - for $99.99 deal, you must sign a 12-month subscription to Vonage. The laptop is $299.99 without the 12-month Vonage subscription and $280 in instant rebate and $100 mail-in. Still cheaper than Wal-mart's $398 deal.
The Compaq Presario notebook features 15.4-inch widescreen with BrightView, Celeron M 420 processor (Wal-mart sells the model with AMD CPU), 512MB DDR RAM, 60GB hard drive, built-in wireless, and DVD/CD burner.
